The Earth HOUR


This year more and more people around the world are joining the Earth hour.

All you have to do is turn off the lights for one hour today (Sat 28 mar). In Argentina it will be from 20:30 to 21:30.

Many cities and organizations in Argentina have joined the project and will turn off the lights of its famous monuments and public buildings.

I will to participate because I think the idea is fabulous, bringing people from around the world together and creating a reflection moment.

Are they useful? I hope so since no government is taking a serious plan to stop global warming

Hi Nelba,
many people in my street turned the lights off. We did too. I think such things are good - they make us stop for a moment and think about things that matter.

When did I start using Internet? I think it coincides with the economic change in Argentina ( 1 peso = 1 dollar) in the late 90's. I started using e-mailing. I have friedns and family living abroad or in other cities, and they usually complain about the fact that I am pretty lazy for writing letters and going to the post office. So, e-mailing was a solution for me.
