Dear Nelba,
Even though I was a bit sick on Saturday, I enjoyed your presentation a lot. You're a very nice and lively person and were able to capture the audience with your explanation of the Writing Matrix project.
I have also blogged about the event on my own blog. This is the URL: http://e-toys-ar.blogspot.com/2007/09/annual-meeting-at-escuela-de-lenguas.html
Go and see the pictures.
Big hug,
Claudia

Dear Nelba and Matias, it's great to see you guys meet F2F for the first time - I wish I were there with you as well. Who knows, maybe some day we will be able to report about international writingmatrix meetings too. Thanks for sharing the video. A big hug from Slovenia. :-)

Nelba,
What an interesting way of meeting you. We still have not been able to meet face to face, but I must say the expectation is growing now!

My regards to Matías who is making a turning point appearance on this vid. You can tell the thrill you all experience with this online project.

It is all so novel and yet so natural. The Internet is nothing but people wanting to connect. This post is a good example of it.

Congrats! And keep it coming...
Thank you dear colleagues for your lovely comments. I do appreciate them :)

Dear Nelba,
that`s a lovely video, I must say you are very beautiful (you look just the way I imagined a beautiful Argentinian person), and, on the other side, it`s very pleasant to hear you (and very useful, too, because written speech is much easier understood that oral), that`s why I guess we should exchange videos more often. I`m already thinking of one - maybe there is something special you`d like to hear from me?

My first Meme (pingback and trackback)

When did I start using Internet? I think it coincides with the economic change in Argentina ( 1 peso = 1 dollar) in the late 90's. I started using e-mailing. I have friedns and family living abroad or in other cities, and they usually complain about the fact that I am pretty lazy for writing letters and going to the post office. So, e-mailing was a solution for me. A really turning point took place in 2001 when I was invited to an on line course on " How to evalute websites" carried out by another Argentinean - Prof. Norma Scagnoli- working at the University of Illinois. She introduced me into the virtual world and there I met one of my dearest cyberfriends: Prof. Dafne Gonzalez. From that moment my virtual life started. I bagan exploring the net and that same year I opened my firs e-group: English Virtual Community. My first steps on the Internet were really awful. I used to have dial up connection, so my experience was a bit poor. I could not spend much time on line and
